Occupants attack power facilities in Odesa region

On the night of October 3, the Russians attacked the energy infrastructure in the Ivanivska community of Berezivskyi district, Odesa region.

This was reported by the head of the village council, Viktor Lobach.

According to him, several energy facilities were damaged by enemy kamikaze drones, which led to large-scale power outages in the villages of the community. The aggressor is systematically trying to destroy the infrastructure related to electricity supply.

Many settlements were left without electricity, and the blast wave caused damage to nearby buildings. Windowpanes were smashed in municipal institutions and private homes, and a significant number of tombstones were damaged by the shahed's fragments at the local cemetery in Ivanivka.

Local power engineers immediately began work to restore power supply. The community authorities promised to help with the aftermath. Viktor Lobach noted that such attacks may continue.

Russian occupation forces are shelling Odesa region with missiles and drones almost daily. On the night of October 2, Izmail district of Odesa region became the target of the occupiers. The enemy sent attack drones there. Numerous explosions were heard in the region. The Ukrainian air defense system was engaged in combat operations. Due to the attack, the Orlivka checkpoint in Odesa region temporarily suspended its passage operations.

The invader targeted the port and border infrastructure. Two truck drivers were wounded in the attack, one of them a Turkish citizen. The injured were hospitalized, their condition is assessed as moderate, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

On the night of September 29, in Odesa district, a Shahed crash damaged the roof and glazing of a residential building, a fence, and three nearby parked trucks.

In Rozdilnyansky district, several drones fell on an open area without igniting. No one was killed or injured. A total of 15 drones were shot down over Ukraine overnight. Five more drones went missing, but the military has no information on whether they caused any damage.
