Iryna Akhramieieva, head of the social work and support department, was appointed acting director of the Hub Veteran Service Office.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the Odesa City Hall.

She will act as the hub's director until a permanent head is appointed and is the second official to hold this temporary position. The first was Deputy Director Valeriy Serbin in December. The reason is that his boss, Volodymyr Yermakov , was transferred from this position to head the new Department of Veterans Affairs, which was created in the Odesa City Council.

The Department of Veterans' Affairs, created at the end of last year, started working and caused 22 new services in the field of veterans' policy to appear in the Centers for Administrative Services.

In early December, the acting mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, appointed a head of the new Department of Veterans' Affairs, which was created in the Odesa City Council. The department is headed by Volodymyr Yermakov, who previously headed the municipal institution "Service Office "Veteran Hub". Volodymyr Yermakov was dismissed from his position as head of the municipal institution by another order.

A separate Department for Veterans Affairs, which oversees the implementation of state and local programs to support defenders, was established in Odesa during a city council session on November 19.

The department consists of three divisions - for the implementation of the city target program, the implementation of state veterans' initiatives and financial support - as well as five directly subordinate departments: legal, personnel, citizens' appeals, social inspectors and the front office.
