New head appointed to Odesa Engineering Defense Department

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has appointed Konstantin Terepa to the position of Head of the Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of the Odesa City Council.

As stated in the mayor's order, the appointment was based on the proposal of First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Filatov.

In the declaration that Konstantin Terepa submitted as a candidate for the position, he noted that his wife owns an apartment in Odesa with an area of 64.7 square meters, and he does not own any real estate. The official himself does not own any real estate according to his declaration. He and his wife also own two cars - a 2013 VW Touareg and a 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150.

The family's income was Konstantin Terepa's salary in four companies: Alkarim-Bud LLC, Markon-Stroy LLC, Pivdenne Stroitelstvo LLC, and Al-Sofia LLC. His total salary amounted to UAH 287,928.

The declaration also indicates that the official was the ultimate beneficiary of Markon-Stroy LLC, but transferred his rights. Currently, the ultimate beneficiary of the company is Iryna Halan.

The family's savings consist of UAH 166 thousand and USD 105 thousand in cash.

Earlier, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov ordered to dismiss Yuriy Piskun from the position of the Head of the Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of the Odesa City Council. Yuriy Piskun is known for the fact that in June 2015, while serving as the military commissar of Odesa region, he was detained together with his subordinate while receiving a bribe of 1,700 dollars. He was charged with creating an organized group for bribe extortion.
