The Mykolaiv Recovery Service has planned to create a shelter in its administrative building. The work should be completed by May 2026, and it will be known in September who will receive millions from the city budget.

This is according to the Prozorro procurement system.

Mykolaiv plans to reconstruct an administrative building at 2A Halyna Petrova Street to equip it with a radiation shelter. The cost of the works is estimated at over UAH 17 million, and they are to be completed by the end of May 2026.

The customer is the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Mykolaiv Oblast. Participants can submit their proposals until September 9, and the auction is scheduled for September 10.

The amount of the bid security is UAH 85,980, and the minimum price reduction step is 0.5%. The auction is scheduled to start on September 10, and bidders have until September 9 to submit their bids.

The customer also requires the winner to provide a performance guarantee in the amount of 1% of the contract value. According to the terms, the contractor will have to reconstruct the building and adapt it to the needs of the shelter. The work must be carried out in accordance with state standards, and upon completion, the facility will be put into operation as a civil defense facility.

The customer requires a performance guarantee from the winner in the amount of 1% of the contract value. Payment for the work is due after its actual completion.

This is not the first attempt by the Recovery Service to find a contractor. In July, the institution also announced a tender for the reconstruction of an administrative building with the arrangement of a radiation shelter.

The auction was held on July 29 with the participation of two companies - BC Interbud LLC and Bereg Trans Bud LLC. Initially, the latter company was recognized as the winner, as its bid was UAH 396 thousand lower than the expected value. At the same time, the company had previously been featured in journalistic investigations for overpayments. In the end, the tender was canceled because both participants failed to eliminate the discrepancies.
