Mykolaiv Official Andriy Volkov Declares ₴946K Salary Amid Sparse Assets

Andriy Volkov, the chief of staff of the executive committee of the city council and a member of the Mykolaiv regional council, has neither his own home nor a car, but he indicated the salary he earned last year.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, this became known from the official's annual declaration for 2024.

The declaration states that Volkov lives in a 75-square-meter apartment in Mykolaiv, which does not belong to him but is used only as a place of registration. At the same time, his wife Oleksandra owns an apartment in Kyiv (76.9 square meters), which she purchased in 2019. She also owns a 2017 Toyota Camry, which was purchased in 2020.

In 2024, Andriy Volkov received a salary of UAH 946 thousand 368, as well as UAH 5,500 in payments from the regional trade union of employees of state institutions. His wife received UAH 60,260 in social benefits, including as an internally displaced person. In addition, her income from entrepreneurial activities amounted to UAH 193,941.

The family also received UAH 5,000 as part of the Winter Support program."

As for savings, Andriy Volkov keeps 6000 euros in cash, and his wife keeps 50,000 dollars.

Also, Mykola Marinov, deputy head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, published a declaration of income and property, which reflects the significant wealth of his family. Ivan Kukhta, the head of Snihuriv MVA, owns several land plots, shares in several companies, cars, and a significant amount of cash. The official's new declaration also contains details on the sources of his income.
