Mykolaiv Faces Urgent Measures After Russian Attack on Infrastructure

In Mykolaiv, an extraordinary commission was convened due to the night attack and the consequences of the attack on the city were shown.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Last night, the Russian military attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv region, leaving part of the city without heating.

Due to the situation, a meeting of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies was urgently convened. The commission members developed a set of urgent measures to minimize the impact and restore heat supply to residential buildings and social institutions.

Residents are reminded that if necessary, they can contact the Unbreakable Points, whose addresses are available on the Diia portal. The authorities and utilities are working in an emergency mode to stabilize the situation as soon as possible.

All utility services are working in the city to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Updated information will be processed promptly.

On the night of February 16, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the city. The enemy attack caused damage to a critical facility, which started a fire.

The blast wave and falling debris damaged five multi-story buildings, four shops, catering establishments, and office space. A 64-year-old man was injured and hospitalized, his condition is currently assessed as satisfactory.

A day earlier, on February 15, a fire broke out on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in Mykolaiv district due to the fall of UAV debris, which was quickly extinguished. The blast wave also damaged a private house, an educational institution, a boiler house, a water treatment plant, an administrative building and an outpatient clinic. There were no casualties.

Yesterday in Kherson region, two police officers were wounded and one man died as a result of Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure and vehicles. The occupiers hit social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, they damaged a multi-storey building and 4 private houses.

On the night of February 13, Odesa region suffered a large-scale attack by Russian drones. Explosions were heard both in Odesa and in the region. The main blow fell on Izmail district. The attack damaged the region's port infrastructure, residential buildings, educational facilities, and vehicles. A 51-year-old local resident was wounded and hospitalized.
