A regular session of the city council has been convened in Mykolaiv. The deputies are to consider issues related to the budget, land issues, the acquisition of an architectural monument and the creation of an after-school program in schools, as well as amendments to the list of administrative services and the community register.

This is evidenced by the order of the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.

According to the document, the meeting of the regular forty-second session of the Mykolaiv City Council of the VIII convocation will be held on March 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in a remote format via video conference.

Traditionally, the plenary session will be broadcast by Intent.

The agenda of the session includes consideration of budget, land and current issues.

Among the issues to be considered by the deputies are a draft decision on the acquisition of a non-residential building - a local architectural monument "Tram Substation", on the approval of the report on the implementation of the budget of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community for 2024, and on the creation of extended day care centers in the city's general secondary education institutions.

Also, changes are to be made to approve the list of administrative services provided through the department and the Regulation on the Register of Mykolaiv City Territorial Community.

Earlier, Mykolaiv updated the list and volume of material reserves for rapid response to emergencies, including in times of war. It provides for the replenishment of emergency rescue equipment, construction materials, personal protective equipment and other critical resources.

In addition, Mykolaivelectrotrans received an additional UAH 12 million to its authorized capital, which allows the company to expand its range of services. The company plans to modernize its infrastructure and develop the production of equipment for the defense forces.

The company also plans to reconstruct and build important facilities, including medical facilities, schools, and administrative buildings. The implementation of these projects is aimed at modernizing the city's social infrastructure. The key projects that require additional funding include the reconstruction of the covered passage between the main building and the trauma center of the city emergency hospital, the creation of a new "Animal Island" complex in the Mykolaiv Zoo, and the renovation of the hospital's reception area.
