The court imposed preventive measures on MPs suspected of selling votes in the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, MP Ihor Negulevskyi was granted bail in the amount of UAH 30 million and ordered to wear an electronic bracelet.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

Four MPs of the Servant of the People faction were suspected in the case of so-called "paid votes". MP Mykhailo Laba is also involved in this case.

The court set bail for Yuriy Kisel at UAH 40 million, and for Ihor Negulevskyi at UAH 30 million. For Yevhen Pyvovarov and Mykhailo Laba, the bail amount was set at UAH 20 million each. Olga Savchenko was granted bail in the amount of UAH 16.6 million. In addition, all suspects are required to hand over their passports for safekeeping and wear electronic bracelets.

According to the investigation, on December 27, the NABU and the SAPO announced the exposure of a corruption scheme in the Verkhovna Rada, which was documented during an undercover operation. Law enforcement officers found that the group members received between $2,000 and $20,000 for supporting or blocking specific bills. On December 29, five MPs were served suspicion notices.

The SAPO notes that in November-December 2025 alone, one of the participants in the scheme received more than $145,000, which was subsequently distributed among other MPs. The transfer of funds, according to the investigation, usually took place on the first Thursday of each month - based on the results of the previous month.

Investigators also claim that the voting was coordinated through a messenger: MPs received specific instructions on how to vote during plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada.

Last year, MP Ihor Negulevskyi bought an apartment in the capital, received income from securities, and declared several hundred thousand in foreign currency. His salary increased by over 124 thousand hryvnias. According to his declaration, he kept 668 hryvnias in PrivatBank, 260 thousand US dollars in cash, and 44 thousand euros.
