The Kherson City Military Administration has made changes to the 2026 budget of the Kherson City Territorial Community. Specifically, an additional 304.9 million hryvnias has been allocated for the implementation of comprehensive resilience plans for regions and individual cities, while spending on housing and utilities and public transportation has been reduced.
The corresponding order was signed by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
According to the document, 304,881,786 hryvnias have been allocated from the budget for the implementation of comprehensive regional and city resilience plans. The funds are earmarked for the corresponding program for 2026–2028, and the financing is linked to a subvention from the state budget.
At the same time, the budget reduced expenditures for the Kherson City Council’s Department of Municipal Services by 27,716,526 hryvnias. Of this amount, 22,716,526 hryvnias are allocated to ensuring the operation of housing and utilities enterprises, institutions, and organizations, while 5 million hryvnias are allocated to the maintenance and development of road transport.
Changes were also made to the budget regarding educational expenditures. For general secondary education, 704,500 hryvnias were allocated for the salaries of non-teaching staff and 2,411,197 hryvnias for teaching staff. The total amount of these educational subsidies exceeds 3.1 million hryvnias.
Separately, the document provides for a subsidy of 531,700 hryvnias to provide state support to individuals with special educational needs.
In total, the amendments to the budget allocation provide for expenditures totaling over 280.8 million hryvnias. The order takes effect on the date of its issuance.
