Missile strike on Mykolaiv injures people and damages houses

On the morning of May 3, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack on Mykolaiv. Two people were injured in the attack.

According to the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim, the wounded are being provided with all necessary medical care.

In his turn, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych noted that after the explosion, the city's residential buildings were damaged. In particular, windows were smashed and roofs were damaged in several houses.

Currently, city services together with the district administration are inspecting the area and determining the extent of the damage.

It should be noted that before the explosion, the Air Force reported a threat of a ballistic strike.

Over the past 24 hours, the Mykolaiv region was again attacked by enemy drones of the Shahed type. The main target of the enemy was the energy infrastructure of the region.

The attacks resulted in power outages in some settlements. Restoration work is underway and power engineers are working to restore power as soon as possible.

Recently, three people were injured in Mykolaiv as a result of an attack and falling debris.

As a reminder, as a result of the latest hostile attacks, a new regime of power outages was introduced in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region due to limited grid capacity.

In addition, on the morning of April 16, Russian troops struck at the energy infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region, which led to large-scale power outages.

Earlier, Intent wrote that on March 18, hourly blackouts were introduced in Mykolaiv amid an emergency in the power system.

The morning attack of Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale blackouts in the city.
