The new "Mindich tapes" have lifted the veil on the backroom scenarios of the change of power in Odesa even before the official decisions. The recordings refer to the possible removal of the mayor and the appointment of "their" leader through the military administration.

MP Oleksiy Honcharenko has released new transcripts of the so-called Mindich tapes, which, in particular, refer to a possible change of leadership in Odesa. The recordings include discussions of scenarios related to the introduction of a military administration in the city.

According to the published materials, in early July last year, businessman Timur Mindich 's interlocutors considered a scenario in which, after the introduction of a military administration, Odesa could get "its" leader.

In the conversations, the name of Maryna came up, whom the participants considered to be a potential head of the city. According to the MP, it is Marina Vdovychenko. In addition, the recordings mention Oleh Kiper, with whom Vdovychenko used to work, which, according to the MP, may confirm this version.

The recordings also discuss the possibility of removing the current mayor , Hennadiy Trukhanov, in the event of a military administration by Zelenskyy's decision.

As you know, in October, a military administration was indeed introduced in Odesa, but it was headed by another person - SBU General Serhiy Lysak.

Thus, the published records may indicate that possible personnel decisions regarding Odesa were discussed long before they were actually implemented.

On November 10, the NABU and the SAPO conducted searches at the offices of the President's former business partner and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio Mindich, as well as the Minister of Justice, Herman Halushchenko, who previously headed the Ministry of Energy.

On November 11, law enforcement officers detained five people as part of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector, and seven people were notified of suspicion. However, Timur Mindich went abroad.

Later, anti-corruption authorities reported a large-scale operation in the energy sector. The criminal organization set up a scheme to systematically receive bribes from Energoatom's contractors in the amount of 10% to 15% of the contract value.

In February, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine detained former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko while crossing the state border in the Midas case.
