The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has allocated UAH 21.4 million to four vocational and professional higher education institutions in Odesa Oblast to renovate their workshops.

According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, the first repair work will begin in the near future.

These are:

In the renovated spaces, students will be able to master modern professions, including: railway transport technologies, agronomy, agricultural engineering, technology for the production and processing of livestock products, manual welding and electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Earlier, deputies of the Odesa City Council supported a draft decision on changes in school meals funding. During the consideration of the draft, Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov emphasized that about UAH 20 million is needed to provide schoolchildren with meals. The intent has already been written that the cost itself will not be changed, but only the nutrition of children from privileged categories will be separated from the rest. This is being done because the state subvention for feeding children in the city is running out, and it is not allowed by law not to feed the privileged ones.

The government has allocated a subvention to Odesa from the state budget as part of the programs to restore Ukraine in the amount of more than UAH 358 million. In January 2025, 30 million hryvnias were allocated for the overhaul of the I building and another 5 million for energy-saving technologies in the B building.
