The Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has completed a pre-trial investigation into a crime against children. Law enforcement officers collected evidence of the recruitment of two young children for sexual exploitation, as well as the facts of their rape.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The case file is being prepared for submission to court.

The offender not only abused the victims, but also planned their further sexual exploitation. The investigation covered several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine related to human trafficking and sexual abuse of children. Given the age of the victims and the cynicism of the defendants' actions, prosecutors will insist on the most severe punishment possible.

This case was under special control of the prosecutor's office. Currently, all the evidence collected has been submitted to the court, which will make the final verdict and ensure retribution for the crime.

Earlier, Mykolaiv police detained a 24-year-old apartment owner after the death of a 19-year-old girl he was illegally holding. Her death could have been caused by systematic violations of her rights and inability to leave the apartment.

During the investigation into the death of the 19-year-old girl, law enforcement officers found that her death could have been caused by systematic violations of her rights and her inability to leave the apartment. Investigators detained the 24-year-old owner of the apartment and notified him of suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty that caused grave consequences.

The tragedy on Okeanivska Street was reported by a local resident on December 10: a girl fell from the ninth floor of a high-rise building. Doctors hospitalized the victim with injuries, but failed to save her.
