The lawyer of a man suspected of sexual abuse of dogs and hooliganism accused activist Tetyana, who came to take the animal from her client, of beating the man.

This was stated by the activist herself.

"Do you remember this abomination? They wrote a statement against me that I had beaten a zoophile and a pedophile. Not a single lawyer wanted to take him on, but one agreed and on her initiative a statement was written against me," the activist said on Instagram.

Tatyana also published the lawyer's phone number and her full name, adding that she was waiting for "calls and wishes."

In the video made by the activists on the evening of the suspect's detention, the activist stands in front of him with a stick. In her comments, the volunteer stated that she was not going to repent and would not admit guilt.

"The maximum I can get is a fine of 850 hryvnias, but it's not about these pennies, it's about principle. Now I'm going to have long trials. I do not admit my guilt, I did it consciously and I am not going to repent," she wrote.

The police have now served the detainee with a notice of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These are the commission of violent acts against an animal for the gratification of sexual passion (Article 299, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), as well as gross violation of public order accompanied by exceptional cynicism (Article 296, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier, the police reported that within the framework of the pre-trial investigation initiated under Article 299(3) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the involvement of the defendant in child molestation was also established, and investigators additionally entered information under Article 156(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, but in the end, this article was reclassified as hooliganism.

The regional police leadership also initiated an internal investigation, during which they promise to provide a legal assessment of the actions of each police officer who initially responded to the incident.

The fact is that activists who reported the incident on social media stated that the suspect's neighbors called the police, but the law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene did not take any action.
