Lawmakers have allocated 456 million for the charter of Mykolaiv Electrotrans

In Mykolaiv, the city council is scheduled to hold its next regular session, during which it will consider budget, land, and property issues. Council members are also expected to approve a new charter for the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelektrotrans” and a selection committee for hospital supervisory boards.

Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, by an order dated August 11, convened the 57th session of the Mykolaiv City Council. The plenary session is scheduled for August 27 at 11:00 a.m.

According to the order, the agenda will include budgetary, current, and land-related matters.

Among the property and economic issues is the establishment of a usufruct right to municipal property for the municipal enterprise “Sviy Dim.” Another item on the agenda will be the formation of a permanent selection committee. It will conduct competitions to select independent members of the supervisory boards of healthcare institutions under the jurisdiction of the Mykolaiv City Council.

A new version of the charter for the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelektrotrans” is also expected to be approved. Specifically, the draft resolution states that the enterprise’s authorized capital amounts to over 456 million hryvnias.

As reported by Intent, in July, the State Audit Service filed a lawsuit demanding that 196.8 million hryvnias be returned to the Mykolaiv city budget—funds that the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelektrotrans” received without proper justification between 2022 and 2025.

The bulk of “Mykolaivelektrotrans’s” revenue comes from the city budget under a transportation services contract signed with the city council’s executive committee back in 2020. According to the auditors’ findings, payments under this contract were made in violation of the law, based on unfounded figures for services rendered.

In early August, the selection committee completed the selection of independent members for the supervisory board of the municipalenterprise “Mykolaivelektrotrans.” The successfulcandidates were Viktoria Ogryza,Mariana Yashna,and Nadiya Vasilyeva.
