The State Logistics Operator (SLO), a state agency that meets the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Spiritual Directorate of the Supreme Mufti of Crimea and a representative of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine to introduce a food system adapted to religious canonical norms - halal and kosher - in the Armed Forces.

This is reported on the website of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

In the context of a full-scale war, ensuring proper conditions for servicemen is not only a matter of logistics, but also respect for religious beliefs and cultural identity.

"The least we can do for the military is to create conditions under which they can perform their tasks without deviating from their beliefs," emphasized Andriy Sozansky, Executive Director of DOT.

Currently, there are about two thousand Crimean Tatars in the Ukrainian armed forces. In 2014, two volunteer battalions were created, which were joined by representatives of the indigenous people of Crimea: The separate battalion "Crimea" and the 48th separate assault battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan.

Ukraine, without a navy, delivered devastating blows to the Russian Black Sea Fleet and effectively thwarted Moscow's plans to turn Crimea into a "land-based aircraft carrier." Thanks to maritime drones, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to establish control over most of the Black Sea and repeatedly struck at the occupied Crimea.

The ATESh guerrilla movement in the occupied Crimea came across an abandoned enemy military medical unit. This part of the territory of Sevastopol is located. It used to be a special forces medical unit.
