Viktoriia Hranovska will temporarily act as the rector of Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, replacing Yuriy Kyrylov, who was dismissed early.

The relevant decision was entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs.

Granovska was appointed to this position by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Previously, she served as vice rector of the Kharkiv State Academy of Economic Sciences.

In December last year, the Ministry of Education and Science prematurely terminated the contract with the rector of Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, Yuriy Kyrylov. The corresponding order was signed by Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi, and on December 30, 2024, Kirillov officially ceased to lead the university.

The reason was the failure to pass a special inspection. Kyrylov himself disagreed with the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science and said that he would appeal the dismissal in court.

Intent analyzed the annual declaration of Viktoriia Hranovska for 2023. According to the data, she owns three apartments in Kherson. The first apartment has an area of 39.7 m² and was purchased in 1996. The second apartment with an area of 39.4 m² and the third with an area of 34.8 m² were purchased on the same day - July 29, 2016.

In addition to real estate, Victoria Granovska owns a 2017 Honda CR-V, which she purchased in December 2019 for UAH 191,663.

The declaration also includes a copyright that she registered in 2023, but no details about its value or nature are specified.

Interestingly, the official belongs to the category of persons holding positions with high corruption risks, which is confirmed by her declaration.

There is no information about other assets, including corporate rights, securities, or other movable property in the declaration.

The declaration also contains information about her children: daughter Anna and son Nazar, who live in Kherson.

Earlier, the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine published the results of the assessment of higher education institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year by the degree of risk in the field of economic activity. The list includes five universities in the Kherson region. Kherson State University received an average risk level with 25 points, while KhSAEEU has a low risk level with 20 points.

Kherson universities were also included in the annual ranking of higher education institutions in Ukraine.
