Last week, from February 3 to 9, 2025, the Russian military tried to storm the right-bank Kherson region 8 times. However, all attempts were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

According to Lieutenant Pavlo Drogalai, spokesman for the Kherson Task Force, the Russian occupiers fired 535 times at Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure over the past week, and conducted two air strikes. The enemy is also actively using various types of drones.

"During this period, 1540 UAVs were used. Of these, 638 were within the Kherson territorial community," noted Drogalay.

However, 1245 fpv drones were destroyed or suppressed with the help of electronic warfare systems, including 532 UAVs within the Kherson territorial community.

"The enemy losses amounted to 110 Russian occupants killed and wounded, 24 units of weapons and military equipment were destroyed," the spokesman added.

Thus, at night, on November 10, Russians attacked a resident of Beryslav from a UAV. The enemy dropped explosives from the drone on the 42-year-old man, causing him to sustain life-threatening injuries. In addition, in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson , the occupiers attacked a checkpoint with an FPV drone. A 33-year-old Kherson police dog handler was injured along with his service dog. The law enforcement officer was taken to a hospital with explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to his hands and face, and the dog with shrapnel wounds was taken to a veterinary clinic.

Earlier, on November 7, at about 15:37, the Russian military attacked the area with a drone. The occupiers dropped explosives on a 37-year-old specialist who was working at the accident site. The man sustained injuries incompatible with life.

In total, in the first month of 2025, more than twelve thousand enemy shells "flew" to the Kherson region. January 2025 was a tragic month for Kherson, as the city lost 16 of its residents during that month.
