Russian Drone Attack in Kherson: Civilian Casualties and Damage

At night, on November 10, Russians attacked a resident of Beryslav with a UAV. The man did not survive.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone on the 42-year-old man, causing him to sustain life-threatening injuries. The day before, on November 9, the Russian military generally shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging a multi-story building and 4 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a penitentiary institution and an outbuilding.

Antonivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Beryslav, Novoraysk, Chervonyi Mayak, Zolota Balka, Zelenivka, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Mykolaivka, Lvov, Zmiyivka, Burgunka, Velytenske, Havrylivka, Dniprovske, Zymivnyk, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Monastyrske, Novotyanka, Odradokamyanka, Olgivka, Osokorivka, Sablukivka, Sofiyivka, Tyahyntsi, Shyroka Balka, and the city of Kherson. One person was injured as a result of Russian aggression.

However, during a night drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 1 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region.

Earlier, on February 8, a fire broke out in a private house due to an enemy shell hit. Rescuers managed to pull a mother and child out of the fire. The 11-year-old boy suffered from explosive trauma, contusion and acute stress reaction, while the 33-year-old woman had mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion.

In addition, in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, the occupants attacked a checkpoint with an FPV drone. A 33-year-old Kherson police dog handler was injured along with his service dog. The law enforcement officer was taken to a hospital with explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to his hands and face, and the dog with shrapnel wounds was taken to a veterinary clinic.
