Recently, a tender was announced in Kherson region to find contractors for repairs at two sites from Dnipro to Mykolaiv regions.
According to the Center for Public Investigations, the relevant tenders were published on the Prozorro public procurement website.
The customer of the services is the state institution "Local Roads of Kherson Region". It is they who announced open tenders with a special focus on the repair of a public road of local importance on the section Zahradivka - Kochubeivka - Davydiv Brid - Kalynivske - Bobrovyi Kut.
According to the terms of the first auction, the winner of the tender will have to perform cold milling of the asphalt concrete pavement, arrange leveling layers of the base with a motor grader and asphalt concrete pavement with an asphalt paver by December 31, 2025. In addition, the roadsides are to be planned with a medium-type motor grader and strengthened. The estimated cost of these works is UAH 66.3 million.
The second tender involves excavation of the soil with an excavator, filling in holes and subsidence with
thick soil, arranging drainage ditches with a motor grader, excavating the soil with an excavator, and compacting the soil on the sides with a roller. In addition, it will be necessary to plan slopes and shoulders, level the base and pavement layers, install guide posts, apply road markings and manually clean the openings of culverts and small bridges from dirt and sediment. The value of this lot is UAH 29.2 million. The deadline for completing the works is the same as in the previous one - December 31, 2025.
Applications for participation in the first auction will be accepted by Local Roads of Kherson Region until June 14, and in the second - until June 17. The first auction will take place on June 16, and the second on June 17.
Earlier, the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Kherson Region signed an agreement with European Road Construction Company LLC to repair the road worth more than UAH 400 million. The company was previously accused of embezzling budget funds. This is the second major contract in the region this year, where the company was the only bidder and won without competition.
