Kherson region will design the restoration of 27 facilities damaged by Russian shelling.

According to the press service of the Regional Military Administration, the Territorial Development Department of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, together with the communities, has compiled a list of 27 facilities that have been damaged by Russian attacks. UAH 23 million is provided for the development of project documentation for their restoration.

They noted that the regional budget will finance only 10% of the design costs, while the rest of the funds will be raised from local budgets.

The list of facilities includes:

According to the JMA, special attention will be paid to institutions located near the front line, as well as kindergartens that are planned to be converted to a mixed learning format.

Meanwhile, in the village of Novovorontsovka in the north of Kherson region, work continues to restore the water supply system. An additional UAH 40 million was raised for the modernization. The project is scheduled to be completed in June this year. Two new wells have already been constructed, one of which is powered by solar panels. Four more have been drilled and are in the process of being equipped, and one has temporarily suspended operations. However, the main problem with the village's water supply is outdated pipelines, which cause about 70% of water to be lost.

The public procurement portal Prozorro has published contracts for the production of design estimates for the construction of protective structures in two educational institutions, one in Kherson and the other in the region.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Regional Military Administration, 11 protective structures are planned to be completed this year, and 5 more are to be built from scratch.
