"Fulfilling the tasks of the occupation administration, he organized and coordinated the pseudo-elections, agitated residents of the temporarily occupied territory to participate in illegal voting, organized the provision of the so-called "election commissions" with material resources, etc.", the agency said.

In addition, from June to September 2023, a 51-year-old resident of Genichesk, heading the so-called "Precinct Election Commission No. 82", which operated in the temporarily occupied territory of Genichesk, organized pseudo-elections to the self-government body created by the occupiers - the "Council of Deputies of the Genichesk Municipal District", formed the composition of the commission, equipped the polling station and controlled the voting process.

Another defendant, a 62-year-old resident of Henichesk, voluntarily headed the so-called "Henichesk Territorial Election Commission". Between December 2023 and March 2024, she organized and coordinated the work of this 'commission', as well as the activities of 29 so-called 'precinct election commissions'. Her role was to prepare and conduct illegal presidential elections in the occupied territory of the Genichesk district, process protocols and transfer them to the so-called "election commission of the Kherson region".

Therefore, the prosecutors of the Kherson regional and Genichesk district prosecutor's offices sent indictments against the defendants on the fact of collaboration.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office brought to court the case of a resident of Genichesk who was elected as a deputy to the Kherson Regional Duma of the first convocation from the local branch of the political party of the aggressor state, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
