In the Kherson region, police together with Save Ukraine helped a family with children to leave the shelled Molodizhne.

According to Vitaliy Saifutdinov, head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the Kherson police, juvenile police officers recently visited a family living in Molodizhne. Law enforcement officers talked to the father and mother of two young children and suggested that they evacuate the village. After all, enemy shells often land in the vicinity of Molodizhne. The parents agreed to the offer.

"Taking into account the security situation, on a certain day, juvenile police officers of the Kherson District Police Department and a district inspector of the Police Department No. 1 (Dniprovskyi), together with representatives of the Save Ukraine NGO, went to the family," the statement said.

The policemen helped the mother with limited mobility, her 6-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter get into the vehicle, loaded their belongings and drove to Kherson. There, law enforcement officers helped the family board a train and now the family is safe in Cherkasy region.

Law enforcers remind: if you decide to leave the settlements that suffer from constant Russian shelling, please contact the territorial police units, the special line "102", local authorities, and volunteers. You can also get information on evacuation by calling the hotline of the Kherson Regional Military Administration: 0800-33-09-51.

Earlier, Kherson police evacuated a mother with two small children who needed medical care from Novooleksandrivka, which was under fire from the Russian military. Prior to that, special forces of the Kherson police rifle battalion, together with a juvenile from the Kherson District Police Department and representatives of the Save Ukraine volunteer organization, evacuated a family from the coastal village of Novodmitrivka in the Bilozerska community to safety.
