According to the report of the Kherson City Military Administration, 27 billboards were dismantled due to the lack of permits, and another 39 were removed due to their emergency condition. In addition, the owners dismantled another 38 advertising media on their own.

The dismantling works were carried out by the municipal utility company "Kherson Municipal Utility Company", which received a contract for the work. Kherson, which received UAH 158,212 for the work.

The military administration emphasized that this initiative is aimed at streamlining advertising structures in the city in accordance with the current legislation.

Earlier, Intent reported that the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko had prematurely terminated the powers of city council member Olga Spivakina, who had previously been an assistant to collaborator Volodymyr Saldo.

The order states that the basis for this decision was Spivakina's personal application submitted on February 5, 2025. In this regard, she was excluded from the Standing Committee on Finance, Budget, Investment and Regulatory Policy.

Instead, Olga Spivakina stated that she had not submitted any application for resignation and believed that Roman Mrochko had exceeded his authority.

Recently, antitrust authorities found violations in the provision of household waste removal services in Kherson. Prior to that, representatives of the Kherson City Council concluded a contract worth more than one million hryvnias between themselves without bidding or auction for the provision of waste disposal services and its removal to a landfill.
