The property of PJSC Kherson Bakery, which was the largest employer and taxpayer in the region, was put up for sale. Last year, the private enterprise was declared bankrupt.

The relevant announcements were published in the Prozorro.Sale system.

The first auction for the sale of the bakery's property is scheduled for April 4, with a starting price of UAH 20.9 million.

The assets include a large production base, including

The description states that the property is located in Kherson. Due to the hostilities, the company's buildings suffered significant damage: broken windows, holes in the roof and walls. The equipment has not been used for more than two years, shows signs of wear and tear, and its performance has not been tested.

The dismantling and transportation of the acquired property will be carried out at the buyer's expense.

According to media reports, the company had debts of UAH 23.45 million, while its assets were valued at only UAH 9.59 million. The plant was unable to resume operations due to a lack of funds, assets and potential investors.

Prior to the outbreak of the full-scale war, Kherson Bakery provided 40% of the bread and bakery products market in the region. However, after the liberation of the right-bank part of Kherson region, the company was unable to resume operations as its production facilities remain under constant shelling or are partially destroyed.

Currently, the region's bread needs are mostly covered by producers from Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kryvyi Rih. Small bakeries operate in the de-occupied communities, and international and charitable organizations, including the UN World Food Program, the Red Cross, and ADRA Ukraine, help with bread supplies.

The owner of Kherson Bakery was Serhiy Durov. The company has been operating since 1958.

Intent has already written that Ukraine has put up for sale bank buildings in the temporarily occupied Henichesk and Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region. The lots were put up by PJSC Prominvestbank, and the auction is scheduled for April 1, 2025.

Recently, ARMA put up for sale seven trucks made by Scania, Volvo, MAN, and Mercedes-Benz. Meanwhile, the National Bank failed to sell an integral property complex located in Odesa
