Kherson allocated funds from the budget for memorials and electric transport

Kherson has approved the work plan of the municipal economy department for 2026. More than UAH 6 million will be allocated to the city's utilities for memorial complexes and the development of electric transport.

The relevant order was signed by the head of Kherson MVA Yaroslav Shanko.

The Kherson City Council approved the work plan of the Department of Municipal Economy for 2026 under the KPKVK code 1217670 "Contributions to the authorized capital of business entities". This decision was made with the aim of efficient use of budget funds and ensuring the implementation of key city programs for the coming years.

In particular, the plan provides for the implementation of the Program for the Development of Urban Passenger Transport of the Kherson Territorial Community for 2026-2028, approved by the order of the Head of the City Council on December 22, 2025. The document also takes into account the Program "Funeral and Cemetery Maintenance of the Kherson Community" for 2026-2028, which provides for the renewal of the material and technical base and improvement of cemetery maintenance.

According to the department's work plan, budget funds will be used to support the city's utilities. In particular:

The total amount of financing under the work plan of the Department of Municipal Economy for 2026 is UAH 6.495 million.

The document will come into force after the appendix to the order of the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration is published. The work plan is designed to ensure transparent and efficient use of community funds and support key areas of the city's life, from transportation to funeral services<span><span><span><span><span><span>.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

The city council also approved the work plans of the Department of Municipal Economy for 2026 under the program "Other activities in the field of housing and communal services". The total amount of funding for the city's utilities exceeds UAH 101 million.
