Kherson utilities received 100 million for roads, transport and traffic lights

Kherson has approved plans for the city's infrastructure for 2026 with a budget of more than UAH 96 million for roads, transport and traffic lights. The largest expenditures are foreseen for city public transport and road maintenance, as well as for the operation of traffic lights within the community.

This is evidenced by an order issued by Yaroslava Shanko, head of the Kherson MVA.

UAH 15.3 thousand was allocated to Khersonmisksvitlo to support the operation of traffic lights within the Kherson territorial community.

More than UAH 26 million was allocated to the City Road Department. The main items of expenditure include salaries - UAH 15.23 million, salary accruals - UAH 3.35 million, fuels and lubricants - UAH 3.45 million, electricity - UAH 241 thousand, vehicle repair and maintenance - UAH 25 thousand, purchase of crushed stone, gravel and sand - UAH 600 thousand, bitumen emulsion - UAH 1.15 million, sand and road salt for winter road maintenance - UAH 470 thousand. The budget also provides funds for work clothes, gloves, household goods and chemicals.

Kherson Municipal Transport Service also received funding totaling UAH 70.6 million for 2026. UAH 32.1 million is planned for salaries, and UAH 7,072,362 for salary accruals. Electricity payments amount to more than UAH 7 million, and water supply and sewerage services - UAH 19.5 million. UAH 33,156 was allocated for physical security of the facilities, UAH 182,600 for the purchase of materials, components and maintenance of office equipment, UAH 4,950 for small materials, and UAH 6,705 for Internet access services.

UAH 8.2 million was allocated for the purchase of fuels and lubricants, and UAH 402,250 for glass for vehicles and materials for its installation. The payment of preferential pensions to the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast will amount to UAH 600,300. UAH 103,950 is planned for the purchase of concrete for the installation of poles, UAH 230,600 for materials and equipment for the repair of the trolleybus contact network, UAH 64,800 for the maintenance of the telemechanics complex of traction substations, and UAH 19,725 for the state inspection of municipal electric transport facilities.

UAH 90,000 was allocated for the repair and maintenance of vehicles, UAH 488,700 for the purchase of spare parts and materials for them, and UAH 20,250 for compulsory vehicle insurance. The purchase of trolleybus and car tires is planned for UAH 3.3 million.

Thus, Kherson municipal enterprises received more than UAH 96 million from the budget. The expenditures are to be used to ensure the smooth operation of roads, public transport and traffic lights within the community.<span><span><span><span><span><span> </span></span></span></span></span></span>

Kherson also amended the Program of the Department of Municipal Economy for 2022-2026. In 2025, the total amount of funding for theKherson Parks utility for salaries, accruals, and repairs of power grids amounted to more than UAH 106 million.
