The Public Integrity Council has declared that Petro Kravchenko, a judge of the Tarutino District Court of Odesa Oblast (Bessarabske village), does not meet the criteria of integrity and professional ethics.

This is evidenced by the decision of the Integrity Council.

According to the PIC, the candidate does not meet the standards of honesty, legality of sources of property and compliance of the standard of living with the declared income. The main comments concerned the understatement of the value of his wife's car.

Jeep Renegade (2020), purchased in July 2022 for the declared 45 thousand UAH (about 1084 USD). However, according to information from the Copart auction (USA), a car with an identical VIN code was sold for 8.6 thousand dollars - almost 8 times more expensive.

Honda HR-V (2022), purchased in January 2024 for UAH 357 thousand (about $9210). The real cost at the auction, including customs clearance, was about $13.72 thousand.

The Public Integrity Council notes that such significant discrepancies may indicate an attempt to conceal real income or sources of funds, which is incompatible with the ethical standards of a judge.

It is also noted that there is a failure to declare his wife's apartment. Since 2012, the wife has owned a ½ share of a 158.3 square meter apartment in Odesa (based on a court decision). This property was not listed in the candidate's declarations, which previously led to the PIC's conclusion on dishonesty in 2019.

Earlier, the family of Veronika Chursova, a judicial candidate in Odesa, became richer during the year: they got a new apartment, a premium car and significant savings. At the same time, their official income remained relatively modest.
