Judge Dmytro Handziy of the Ovidiopol District Court of Odesa Region refused to change the phrase "racist pederation" to "Russian Federation" in his ruling.

According to the Dumskaya newspaper, in the ruling he issued the other day, he noted that this was not a typo, but the correct name for the "specified non-state."

Gandziy called Russia a "racist faggot" in a decision in a civil case: the plaintiff asked to establish the legal fact of his brother's death in the war. Subsequently, the applicant requested the correction of the name of the aggressor state, but was denied.

"The application for correction of the misprint is not subject to satisfaction, based on the fact that the said expression of the court in no way affects the essence of the decision made by the court to establish the legal fact of family relations between the applicant and his brother, a soldier who died in the Nazi Ukrainian war, and cannot have consequences or certain complications for the applicant and is not a misprint or incorrect name of the said non-state, which on February 24, 2022, declared an open unproven, aggressive and invasive war against our country, thereby continuing the aggression against Ukraine, which has already lasted for 11 years," the judge stated.

He went on to list the crimes committed by the Russian military, cited the position of the Council of Europe, and reminded that the term "racism" was officially introduced into circulation by the Verkhovna Rada on May 2, 2023, when it adopted a resolution condemning Russia's ideology and policies.

Meanwhile, the High Council of Justice dismissed Judge Zemfira Baranovska of the Southern City Court of Odesa Oblast due to her resignation.
