Izmail City Council approves a loan of 50 million

At the 71st session of the VIII convocation, the Izmail City Council decided to make a local borrowing in 2025 in the amount of UAH 50 million. The funds will be borrowed to finance investment projects in healthcare and critical infrastructure.

This was reported by a correspondent of the socio-political publication Intent.

Document No. 3622 provides for the attraction of credit funds to finance the development budget of the Izmail city territorial community. The borrowing is aimed at implementing public investment projects related to healthcare and ensuring the stable operation of critical infrastructure facilities.

According to the decision, the form of borrowing is the conclusion of a loan agreement with JSC "State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine".

Repayment of the loan and payment of interest will be made at the expense of the budget of the Izmail community.

The decision will come into force after approval by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. The financial department of the Izmail City Council is responsible for the execution of the loan. Control is vested in the Standing Committee on Budget and Socio-Economic Development of the city.

In August, the Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council decided to provide financial assistance to residents affected by Russia's armed aggression on August 20. The victims who are undergoing or have undergone inpatient treatment will receive a one-time payment of UAH 20 thousand from the budget of the Izmail city community.
