The power supply in the Arcadia neighborhood in Odesa is provided according to the scheme of three hours of electricity supply and then a six-hour break.

This was reported by the press service of DTEK Odesa Power Grids.

According to the company, this happened as a result of an accident on October 20 at a power facility in Prymorskyi district. This facility has survived several enemy attacks and is damaged.

"We have to dismantle the old equipment and install the new one. This is a difficult and time-consuming job. And it is ongoing. In order not to leave Arkadiya without electricity, we have created a temporary power supply scheme. It allows us to supply electricity alternately - 3 hours with light, 6 hours without. Unfortunately, the equipment cannot withstand more," the company explained.

On October 20, Russians attacked Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles. Most of the air targets were destroyed by air defense forces, but there were hits that damaged civilian port infrastructure and caused several fires. There were no reports of casualties, but the town of Pivdenne was partially cut off from gas supply.

Russians intensified attacks on infrastructure as the fall approached. Thus, as a result of an enemy drone attack on Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa Oblast on the night of October 12, critical infrastructure facilities in the community were partially damaged. The city was left without water supply for a short time. One civilian was injured in the night attack. A 34-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized from her private home. In addition, the enemy attacked Podilskyi district, where a gas transportation infrastructure facility was damaged.

Also, part of Odesa was cut off from electricity supply as a result of a Russian attack on the region's energy infrastructure on the night of October 11. Power supply has now been restored in the city.
