The UA Recovery Window MediaNetwork, which includes independent media, NGOs and think tanks focused on high-quality and transparent coverage of all aspects of Ukraine's recovery, has started working today, January 22, 2024.

Intent became a co-founder of this association.

The members of the Recovery Window talk about the recovery of all affected regions on a single platform.

Other members of the association are the regional media outlets "Skhidnyi Varyant" (Donetsk and Luhansk regions), "MOST" (Kherson region), "Nakypilo" (Kharkiv region), the all-Ukrainian media outlet "Rubric", the analytical center "Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives", and the analytical platform Vox Ukraine.

From now on, thanks to its participation in the Recovery Window network, Intent will publish more relevant and verified materials on various aspects and stages of recovery in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

They will be distributed not only on the publication's website, but also on the joint platforms of the association.

"Window of Recovery" plans to:

The members of the association will also tell local stories, highlighting the problems of both individuals and entire regions. All this should strengthen the recovery discourse, emphasize the importance of powerful changes and provide opportunities for people and organizations that create them.

Earlier, Intent joined the JTI (Journalism Trust Initiative) Emergency Protocol of Reporters Without Borders (RWB), first implemented in Ukraine in partnership with NewsGuard. Along with us, 24 other Ukrainian news media have joined the project. The main goal of the project is to help accelerate the alignment of media in risky markets, starting with Ukraine, with the JTI excellence criteria, an international standard for news publishers introduced in 2021 at the initiative of the Paris-based nonprofit organization RBC.
