In the Odesa region, a man was killed and fuel tankers were burned in an enemy attack

Another Russian attack on civilian infrastructure in southern Odesa Oblast has resulted in casualties and a massive fire. One person was killed and four others were injured in the attack.

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

Russian Federation forces have once again attacked civilian infrastructure in the south of the Odesa region. The enemy strikes sparked a fire at a truck parking lot.

According to rescue workers, the fire engulfed empty fuel tankers and a gas tanker. The fire was quickly extinguished, preventing it from spreading further.

One person was killed in the attack. Four others were injured, and one victim was hospitalized for medical treatment.

As Oleg Kipper noted, emergency services are currently working at the scene. Specialists are continuing to address the aftermath of the shelling and are documenting yet another Russian war crime against the civilian population.

Also, on the evening of June 18, Russian drones attacked two foreign civilian vessels in the Black Sea that were heading out of Ukrainian ports. According to Ukrainian authorities, the vessels flying the flags of Panama and St. Kitts and Nevis were struck. 

As a result of the attack, one crew member was killed on one of the vessels, and two other sailors were injured. Three crew members were injured on the second vessel. They were provided with the necessary medical assistance. Despite the attack, both vessels subsequently resumed their journey along their intended route.

On the afternoon of June 16, the Russians once again attacked the Odesa region with drones, damaging a private home. The attack sparked a fire. An elderly couple was injured: a 70-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man. The woman was hospitalized in moderate condition.
