In the Mykolaiv region, a tractor driver and a child were killed and four others were wounded in Russian attacks

In the Mykolaiv region, a 31-year-old tractor operator and a 3-year-old boy were killed as a result of Russian attacks; four other employees of an agricultural enterprise were injured. Preliminary investigations have been launched into the deaths and injuries of civilians.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on September 21 in the Bashtanka District, a 31-year-old tractor driver was killed while working in a field. It has been preliminarily established that a cluster munition detonated while the tractor was tilling the soil. The man sustained shrapnel wounds that were fatal.

On the same day in the Bashtanka district, four employees of an agricultural enterprise, aged 21 to 37, were injured as a result of an attack by a Russian Shahed-type UAV. Three men with shrapnel and blast injuries were hospitalized in critical condition. Another victim received outpatient medical care.

In the Voznesensk district, a 3-year-old boy sustained a fatal injury as a result of a Russian Shahed attack.

In addition, in Novy Buz, a warehouse storing grain was damaged and a fire broke out after a Shahed-131/136 UAV struck the building. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties there.

Preliminary investigations have been launched under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding war crimes that resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.

Prosecutors, together with investigators and other agencies, are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks.
