In the Mykolaiv region, a high school and several vessels were damaged following a UAV attack; there are casualties

On August 2, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with Shahed-type strike drones, as well as "Molniya" and FPV drones. The attacks damaged an educational institution, port infrastructure, civilian vessels, private homes, and administrative buildings. There were also casualties.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

In Mykolaiv, a high-speed drone attack damaged a high school building. A school bus caught fire on the school grounds.

In addition, port infrastructure in the Mykolaiv district was hit. Three civilian vessels were damaged as a result of the attack. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

In Snigurivka, a Russian drone strike caused a fire in the production equipment of one of the agricultural enterprises.

In the Bashtanka district, Russian troops attacked the Snigurivka community with four “Molniya”-type drones and one FPV drone over the course of the day and on the morning of August 3.

A married couple was injured in one of the strikes. The 66-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Doctors describe his condition as serious and unstable. The 63-year-old woman sustained injuries but is receiving outpatient treatment.

A private home in the community was also damaged. As a result of the morning attack on August 3, an administrative building and a retail establishment were damaged. According to the Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties during that strike.

The day before, the Russian army attacked the Mykolaiv district and the Veselynivka community with drones. Five people were wounded in the strikes, including a four-year-old child. A civilian vessel was also damaged.

Throughout July 31, Russia attacked the Mykolaiv region with various types of drones. In the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts, a residential building and a warehouse were damaged, and a fire broke out in dry grass. There were no casualties.
