In the morning, Russians attacked Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi

The municipality of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa region reported an attack by the Russians in the morning of May 12.

According to the mayor's office, a number of civilian infrastructure facilities, including private homes, were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.

Currently, the city has set up an operational response headquarters, which is located on the first floor of the city council building at 56 Mykhailivska Street. The municipality also held a meeting of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations and urged citizens to move around the city with caution.

On May 5, late in the evening, the Russian armed forces attacked Odesa region with attack drones. Civilian infrastructure facilities were hit.

According to the investigation, a 29-year-old local resident died as a result of the enemy attack in Odesa district - the man suffered fatal thermal burns due to damage to a power line. Another victim, a 19-year-old man, was hospitalized with combustion product poisoning.

Earlier, experts from the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Southwestern District investigated the consequences of the missile strike on Odesa by the Russians on the evening of April 22 and estimated the damage at over UAH 1.2 million.

The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure, including the premises of a private enterprise, residential buildings and several cars. A 66-year-old man was injured and hospitalized with burns.

Specialists of the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Southwestern District also investigated the consequences of the missile strike on Odesa, which was carried out by the Russians on the night of April 21-22, and estimated the total damage at 583 thousand hryvnias. The mass of carbon dioxide emissions into the air then amounted to almost 192 tons, and the total area of the fire was 2,420 square meters.
