Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian military drone command post near Oleshky in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. This is one of four such targets that the Ukrainian military has attacked over the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, strikes on Russian drone command posts were also carried out in Berdiansk in the Zaporizhzhia region, near Bilytske in the Donetsk region, and in the Aleksandrovskoye area in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
In Berdyansk, in particular, a temporary deployment site and a UAV command post belonging to a unit of the Russian “Rubicon” center were struck. The General Staff noted that this unit uses drones, in particular, to attack the civilian population in frontline settlements.

Casualties among Russian troops resulting from the strikes are currently being assessed.
The General Staff emphasized that striking drone command posts should reduce the Russian troops’ ability to use drones against Ukrainian positions and along military routes.
As a reminder, on October 30, a Ukrainian delegation led by Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets arrived in the occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region. People who wanted to leave the town for territory controlled by Ukraine were given that opportunity.
On the same day, two convoys departed from Oleshky: one headed for Ukraine, the other for Russia. The number of people evacuated in each direction is unknown.
Those who wished to travel to territory controlled by the Ukrainian government were transported via the occupied Crimea to Anapa, Russia. From there, they flew to Belarus and were subsequently transported to Ukraine.
