In the Kherson region, a company director will stand trial for carrying out repairs for the occupiers

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Prosecutors have filed an indictment with the court against a 42-year-old company director who carried out building repair contracts for the occupiers. The woman faces up to five years in prison. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The investigation established that, following the occupation of Crimea, the defendant registered a construction company under Russian law and became its head. She subsequently collaborated with the occupying authorities of the aggressor state. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In particular, throughout 2024, the company under her control entered into a series of contracts with the illegally established Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office and, under those contracts, carried out major repairs to roofs, facades, electrical systems, and interiors of the administrative buildings of the occupying authority in Henichesk. Her company also supplied automatic gates to the enemy. The total value of the contracts amounted to over 11 million Russian rubles.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span> Earlier, prosecutors</span></span></span></span></span></span>in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea referred to court a case involving the leaders of the “Union of Crimean Border Guards,” the “Varyag” club, and the maritime training center of the same name. They are accused of preparing Crimean children for service in the Russian Armed Forces.

According to the investigation, under the guise of military-patrioticeducation, the leaders of these institutions systematically prepared Ukrainian children in occupied Crimea for future service in the Russian armed forces. The schoolchildren were taught how to handle small arms, combat tactics, field training, rescue operations, and light diving. Shooting exercises, tactical drills, and military games were conducted for them, and members of the so-called “SVO” were involved in the training sessions.
