In the Kherson region, 25 people were wounded, and in the Mykolaiv region, drones damaged a gas station

Over the past day, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, using artillery, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and attack drones. Nearly fifty settlements came under fire, and the number of wounded in the Kherson region reached 25 people.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops continue to terrorize Ukraine’s southern regions. 

In the Kherson region, 48 settlements and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire. The occupiers struck residential neighborhoods, critical infrastructure, and social infrastructure facilities. As a result of the attacks, two high-rise buildings and 46 private homes were damaged.

A cathedral, cell towers, a gas station, farm buildings, route taxis, and private vehicles were also damaged. Twenty-five residents of the region were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the enemy attacked the Mykolaiv region with Shahed strike drones. In Mykolaiv, as a result of air defense operations and falling debris, windows at a kindergarten, a power line, and four private homes were damaged. 

In the Bashtanka District, Russian forces used “Molniya”-type drones three times against the Snigurivka community. In Snigurivka, a gas station and the windows of two apartment buildings were damaged. 

Another attack by an FPV drone was recorded in the Kutsurub community of the Mykolaiv district. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.

The day before, on June 19, another Russian strike on civilian infrastructure in southern Odesa Oblast resulted in casualties and a large-scale fire. One person was killed and four others were injured in the attack.

On the evening of June 18, Russian drones attacked two foreign civilian vessels in the Black Sea as they were leaving Ukrainian ports. The vessels, flying the flags of Panama and St. Kitts and Nevis, were struck. 

As a result of the attack, one crew member was killed on one of the vessels, and two other sailors were injured. Three crew members were injured on the second vessel.
