Former Deputy Mayor of Odesa Hanna Pozdnyakova filed two declarations two months apart - one upon her dismissal in December 2025 and one annual declaration in February 2026.

TheCenter for Public Investigations analyzed both financial reports and found some discrepancies.

For instance, the annual declaration has more income items compared to the resignation declaration.

In the annual declaration, there are

The declaration of income exemption only includes the salary at the city hall and the childbirth allowance.

The declarations also contain different amounts of cash savings. If the amount of cash is the same - 20 thousand dollars - the difference is in bank deposits. In her dismissal declaration, Hanna Pozdnyakova's bank deposit is 179.7 thousand hryvnias, and in her annual declaration, it is 182.8 thousand.

The information on real estate is the same in both declarations: an apartment in Odesa with an area of 33.6 square meters, an office in Odesa with an area of 51.5 square meters, and an apartment that the official has been using since 2022.

The information about the Toyota Highlander car, which the official purchased in June 2022 for UAH 1 million 952 thousand, also remains unchanged. Among the valuable movable property are a Braschi sable fur coat, Damiani jewelry (a wedding ring, earrings and a white gold pendant with diamonds) and a Louis Vuitton designer bag, purchased before the first declaration. Pozdnyakova also declared cryptocurrency - 6.02 Bitcoin.

Deputy Mayor of Odesa Hanna Pozdnyakova decided to resign from this position in November 2025, and on October 31, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv imposed a measure of restraint on her in the form of nightly house arrest until December 28, 2025.

On October 29, former Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov and his deputies were notified of suspicion of negligence in office, which caused the deaths of people during the September 30 flood.

Anna Pozdnyakova was appointed deputy mayor of Odesa in the summer of 2024. Prior to that, she was the head of the Odesa City Heat Supply utility company.
