The State Bureau of Investigation has sent to court the case of two servicemen accused of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the SBI press service.

According to the investigation, two servicemen of one of the law enforcement agencies helped men of conscription age to avoid mobilization for a year. They passed on information about the locations of mobile checkpoints and the current places of delivery of calls in one of the communities of Odesa region.

Investigators found that the defendants were administrators of the Viber group "DAI Chorna" ("Traffic Police Black"), which systematically reported on the appearance of representatives of territorial centers of recruitment and social support and warned of the so-called danger.

Currently, both defendants are accused of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special period. If found guilty, the men face imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.

Earlier, in Odesa region, the case of a district military commissariat officer and two law enforcement officers suspected of a corruption scheme involving military records was brought to court. According to the investigation, in exchange for money, they promised to exclude persons liable for military service from the search database.

Prosecutors of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region filed an indictment with the court against an officer of the Bolhradskyi District Military Commissariat and JV and two law enforcement officers. Investigators believe that in exchange for money they helped people liable for military service to be removed from the Oberig database.

All three are accused of obtaining undue advantage for themselves and third parties to influence decision-making by officials performing public functions. These are actions committed by a group of people by prior conspiracy.
