In Odesa region, border guards prohibit driving on field roads

The command of the 25th Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has banned the use of field roads in its area of responsibility.

According to the Bessarabia village council, the border guards explained that the analysis of the situation within their area of responsibility indicates that violators of the state border and their accomplices are actively using field roads leading to the state border.

"In order to organize counteraction to illegal activities, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on Border Regime approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 27, 1998, No. 1147, the 25th Border Guard Detachment announces a ban on the movement of vehicles (except for machinery and equipment for the agro-industrial complex involved in agricultural work) on roads that are not in the register of roads leading to the state border," the border guards said.

The area of responsibility of the 25th border guard detachment is Bolhrad, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa districts. However, the ban will not apply to agricultural machinery.

He met with a man who wanted to go abroad, offering him a car ride and discussing the details of the trip. After a while, the car stopped and the driver got into the passenger's seat. Threatening him with a knife, he forcibly took his bag, which contained $6,000 and personal belongings. The victim managed to escape by jumping out of the car.</span>

Earlier, police and a Security Service of Ukraine officer detained two men from Podil district in Odesa region on suspicion of organizing the illegal transportation of men who are prohibited from leaving the country during martial law outside official checkpoints.
