In Odesa region, during the alert, the RTCC and JV servicemen were attacked. The attacker tried to escape, and the driver who helped him has already been detained.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional CCC and JFO.

In Izmail, during the notification activities, there was an attack on the military personnel of the RCCC and JFO. During the document check, one of the citizens, instead of complying with the legal requirements, took out a screwdriver and began to attack the personnel. According to the press service, he created a real threat to their lives and health.

In an attempt to avoid responsibility, the attacker fled by getting into a car. However, the driver of the car that facilitated his escape has now been detained. Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Article 114 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are currently underway to bring all those involved to justice.

The press service of the Odesa Regional CCC and JV emphasized that committing violence against servicemen while performing their duties under martial law is a serious crime. Every attempt to infringe on the life and health of the state's defenders will receive a strict legal assessment. Military uniforms symbolize the protection of the state, and any illegal actions against the military will not go unpunished. They added that attacks on servicemen undermine the country's defense capability and the morale of Ukrainian society.

In early January, a court in Odesa found a local resident guilty of obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sentenced him to five years in prison. He disseminated information about the time and place of military alert events in district territorial centers to help people avoid mobilization.

The man reported information about the places where he saw the warning groups via a telegram channel and explained that he published these messages because he considered the actions of the TCC employees to be illegal.
