In Odesa, the water utility has allocated millions of hryvnias to implement its 2026 investment program. Specifically, the funds were used for protective coverings, wastewater treatment equipment, and emergency repairs.

During a meeting of the Odessa City Council’s Committee on Housing and Utilities, representatives of Infox LLC reported on the implementation of the 2026 investment program.

According to the company’s director, the program allocates 54.9 million hryvnias for water supply and 71.2 million hryvnias for wastewater treatment. Some of the planned measures have already been implemented or funded.

In particular, a mobile shelter costing 774,000 UAH was purchased and installed to protect employees at the Main Pumping Station in Odesa.

The company also paid an additional 2.848 million UAH as an advance payment for three rotary blowers with motors and control cabinets for the “Pivnichna” biological treatment plant. Delivery is expected in September, after which the company plans to make the final payment —approximately 10 million UAH.

Special equipment worth nearly 800,000 UAH was purchased for emergency repairs on water supply and sewer networks. This includes, in particular, check valves, a generator, compressors, motor pumps, and pumping equipment.

In addition, Infox LLC paid an advance of nearly 200,000 UAH for the development of project documentation for the reconstruction of the production facilities and workshops of the specialized vehicle fleet. These were destroyed as a result of shelling on the night of March 19.

During the discussion, council members raised the issue of updating the emergency services’ vehicle fleet. A company representative stated that the purchase of new vehicles is included in the investment program; however, the company’s capabilities are limited due to insufficient funding and a tariff that, according to him, has remained unchanged since 2022.

In July, prior to the approval of the 2026 investment program for the“Infoksvodokanal” branch, a debate erupted in the Odesa City Council regarding the quality of the company’s operations. Council members demanded that the company’s compliance with its obligations be verified before discussing a possible rate increase for residents.

However, as early as August, at a meeting of the executive committee in Odesa, an increase in rates for services provided by Infox LLC through its subsidiary “Infoxvodokanal” was approved.
