<span><span><span><span><span><span>The winners of the "Youth Participatory Budget" project have been announced in Mykolaiv. Out of 15 projects, 5 were selected based on the number of votes they received from local residents. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>The following projects received the most support from city residents in 2026:</span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>Each of these projects will receive funding of up to 10,000 U.S. dollars. The initiatives will be implemented by the end of the year. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>Voting for the projects was available online via the e-DEM platform and offline at designated locations. This year, 8,747 Mykolaiv residents participated in the voting. As of June 16, the leading projects were “Mykolaiv City Student Leadership Space,” “Inclusive Smart Hub,” “Energy Hall Game Room,” and “SafeSchool Vision.” Two of them maintained their lead until the very end. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
<span><span><span><span><span><span>The “Youth Participatory Budget” competition is being held in Mykolaiv for the second year in a row. In 2025, 10 initiatives won, each receiving 8,000 U.S. dollars. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
The competition is implemented with financial support from the Save the Children Foundation.
