Voting for the Youth Participatory Budget is underway in Mykolaiv: the first frontrunners have emerged

Voting on projects for the Mykolaiv Youth Participatory Budget is currently underway. As of the morning of June 16, the project “Mykolaiv Student Leadership Space” has received the most support from residents, with 214 votes cast online.

This information was published on the e-dem online voting website.

Voting began on June 15 and will last two weeks. You can participate both online via the E-DEM platform and offline.

Who can participate in the voting:

Any resident of the local community who holds a Ukrainian passport, is at least 14 years old, and has a registered or declared place of residence in Mykolaiv, including internally displaced persons, whose actual place of residence/stay in the Mykolaiv region is confirmed by a certificate of registration as an internally displaced person, is entitled to vote for no more than one project.

Where to vote offline:

You can cast your votes for projects in paper form at designated polling stations at the following addresses:

Hours: Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A person intending to vote at a polling station must provide the official documents specified on the ballot forms (Ukrainian passport (ID card)). If presenting an ID card, an extract from the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community registry confirming the person’s place of residence is required.

Where to vote online:

Electronic votingwill take place on the e-DEM platform. Access to the electronic voting form on the e-DEM platform is available after registration and authorization (identification) on the website.

As of June 16, the leaders are:

  1. "Mykolaiv City Student Leadership Space" – 214 votes.
  2. Inclusive Smart Hub – a space for digital correction and virtual adaptation based at Mykolaiv School No. 57 – 202 votes.
  3. "Energy Hall Game Room" – 185 votes.
  4. SafeSchool Vision: A Step Toward a Safe Future – 185 votes.

The projects with the fewest votes so far are:

A total of 15 projects are participating in the competition. Among them are initiatives in the fields of education, sports, safety, inclusion, and the development of public spaces.

Voting will continue until June 28.
