In Mykolaiv region, a part of the deputy corps appealed in court against the decision to build a land plot in the city center. The deputies insist that it is a territory with special social and symbolic significance for the community.

This was reported by deputy Viktor Osadchenko.

In Voznesensk, a group of city council members filed a lawsuit with the Mykolaiv District Administrative Court demanding to cancel the decision to determine the location for the construction of the Center for Mental Health and Development at 3 Tsentralna Square.

According to him, the councillors believe that the city council's decision was made in violation of current legislation and actually paves the way for the development of the territory that should remain a public space and green zone.

This is the area where the Memory Alley was arranged, a memorial sign to the Defenders of Ukraine was installed, and personalized linden trees were planted in honor of the fallen Heroes. The deputies emphasize that this place has a special memorial significance for the community.

According to the initiators of the lawsuit, the decision to build the site caused a resonance among the city's residents, from veterans and military personnel to ordinary residents. That's why they went to court to protect the interests of the community and prevent what they believe to be illegal construction. The deputies promised to inform us about further consideration of the case.

In early February, illegal structures were demolished on the shores of the Bug estuary by court order. The reason for the intervention of the prosecutor's office and the subsequent court proceedings was that the entrepreneur had been using this piece of municipal property without any proper legal grounds.

A cafe with an equipped summer terrace for visitors was illegally located on the seized territory. As of today, the land plot on Lazurna Street has been completely cleared of illegal construction.
