Detectives from the Economic Security Bureau (ESB) uncovered a large-scale operation in Mykolaiv producing counterfeit clothing and footwear from well-known global brands. The value of the seized products and equipment exceeds 50 million hryvnias.

The counterfeit clothing manufactured in Mykolaiv was sold throughout Ukraine. In particular, it was also supplied to the“7th Kilometer” market in the Odesa region.
The detained organizer rented warehouse space, set up production facilities, and installed nearly 130 pieces of equipment. During the investigation, more than 60,000 items of counterfeit clothing were discovered. An expert assessment confirmed that the brand owners had suffered losses of over 11 million hryvnias.

During follow-up searches in Mykolaiv and the Odesa region, authorities additionally seized over 360,000 items of athletic footwear, underwear, headwear, and other textile products bearing the trademarks “Reebok,” “Nike,” "New Balance," "Adidas," "Puma," "Salomon," "Gucci," "Versace," "Lacoste," "Armani," "Hugo Boss," "Levi’s," "Columbia," "Tommy Hilfiger," "Off-White," "Calvin Klein," and others. Twenty-eight pieces of equipment were also discovered.
Earlier in Odesa, law enforcement officials uncovered a production facility manufacturing sportswear with counterfeit logos of well-known brands. The counterfeit items were sold online and at the “7 Kilometer” industrial goods market.
