Between 06:00 on April 22 and 06:00 on April 23, dozens of settlements in the region came under attack from drones, aircraft and artillery, including Antonivka, Komyshany, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka and the regional center of Kherson.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, 11 people were wounded as a result of the Russian attacks.
The Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. A multi-storey building and at least 11 private houses were damaged. A banking institution, outbuildings, a gas pipeline, and private cars were also damaged.
Six people were evacuated from the danger zone.
Yaroslav Shanko , the head of the Kherson MVA,added that in the morning of April 23, Russian troops attacked the village of Textile.
After seven o'clock, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone on a garbage truck. An employee of a utility company was injured as a result of the attack.
According to local authorities, Russian forces continue to target civilians and utility workers.
In addition, a new attack was recorded in Kherson yesterday morning: about an hour ago, the occupiers attacked a car in Dniprovsky district with a drone.
The 59-year-old driver was injured - he suffered a concussion, explosive and closed head injury, a fragmentary forehead wound, as well as numerous abrasions of the hands and feet. The man was hospitalized.
As a reminder, in March, a worker of a heating and power plant in Kherson was killed by Russian shelling.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked a taxi in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The attack on civilian transport took place at noon, when the bus was carrying passengers.
On March 9, the Russians once again shelled the settlements of the Kherson region. The attacks killed one person and injured eight others. The Russian military fired at civilian infrastructure with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, and various types of UAVs.
