In Kherson region, Russian troops damaged 10 houses and destroyed cars

Over the past day, the Russian army shelled more than 30 settlements in Kherson region. Homes and cars were destroyed, and two people were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Over the course of the day from August 17 to August 18, dozens of settlements in Kherson region came under attack from Russian drones, artillery and aircraft. Among them are Antonivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Beryslav, Novoberislav and the city of Kherson. In total, the report lists more than 30 towns and villages in the region.

The occupants shelled residential areas and critical and social infrastructure. As a result, 10 private houses were damaged and a car was destroyed.

Two people were injured in the shelling.

At around 16:30, Russian troops attacked Bilozerka with a drone. A 32-year-old man was hit and sustained a mine-blast injury. In Novodmitrivka, a local resident was hit by a Russian drone. After the explosives were dropped, the 50-year-old woman sustained blast and brain injuries, contusion and shrapnel wounds to her arm and leg. She is currently in hospital.

On the morning of August 18, a 50-year-old resident of Sablukivka, who had suffered from a drone attack the day before, was also brought to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with an explosive injury, contusion and multiple shrapnel wounds to his neck, torso and arms.

Over the previous day, 32 settlements in the Kherson region came under shelling by Russian artillery and drone attacks. The attacks damaged a high-rise building, 14 private houses and several outbuildings. Three people were killed and 12 more civilians were injured during the day.

From August 14 to 15, 2025, 44 settlements in the Kherson region came under fire from drones and artillery. A multi-storey building and 22 private houses were damaged, gas pipelines, outbuildings, and a car were destroyed.

The attacks killed one person and injured five others, including a child. Three villages in the region have been recognized as dangerous for life due to constant attacks by the Russian army.

Evacuation has begun in the Kherson community. It concerns the villages of Inzhenerne, Komyshanske, Sadivske and Antonivske starostas, including all streets along the Dnipro River, as well as Korabel, Yantarny-1 and Yantarny-2 neighborhoods.
